Sicaria Sound [Cutcross | Confidance] | London, UK Partners in crime dans la musique, soeurs dans l’amitié, fondatrices du label Cutcross Recordings, Sicarias Sound alias Imbratura et Ndeko est un duo doublement mythique qui sait mettre le feu aux soundsystems. Aussi confortables avec les basses fréquences qui secouent le thorax qu’avec des hommages entêtants au hip-hop ou aux heaters à percussions frénétiques, elles ne perdent jamais de vu leur héritage marocain et sud soudanais.
J’peux Tim [ Kasheme | Radio X ] | Zürich, CHOriginaire du Kosovo, Tim Bytyqi est copropriétaire du bar Kasheme, connu pour être un lieu culturel incontournable à Zürich. Il vit et respire pour la musique en s’inspirant constamment des artistes émergents qu’il côtoie. Tout en restant à l’écoute des musiques novatrices, il est très influencé par le jazz, l’ambient et la World-Music.
Afreekaya [ Pepperpot Soundsystem | Analog Africa ] | Neuchâtel, CHVoyageant sans complexe entre l’Amérique latine et l’Orient, entre les Caraïbes et l’Afrique, ce Neuchâtelois d’origine turque aime faire transpirer le public sur ses sons tropicaux, funky ou bruts, avec une teinte psychédélique ou électronique au besoin. Actif au sein du label de réédition Analog Africa, Afreekaya programme des soirées dansantes avec comme objectif de partager ses connaissances musicales et faire vibrer la scène culturelle locale.
Namarone [ Delta9 | Strecke ] | Fribourg, CHProducteur et DJ confirmé, Namarone évolue dans l’univers UK Bass music. Après avoir fait ses preuves sur des labels tel que Delta9 ou Drum Army, Namarone a récemment sorti un vinyle sur le label fribourgeois Strecke Records. Attendez vous à un set deep et hybride aux rythmes breakés implacables dont quelques bijoux dubstep collectés tout au long de son voyage sonore.

Pepperpot Soundsystem’s crew will be taking over the line up and of course bringing their own baby. We are not messing around for that first collaboration as Sicaria Sound, Queens of the 140, will be there, straight out of London for an exclusive set ! That said, they will be well surrounded... Afreekaya & J’peux Tim will be restoring the warm up set to its former glory, while Namarone will ensure a subtle transition from 140 to jungle before handling the decks to Esti for a jungle to drum n bass closing set.
Sicaria Sound | London, UK Partners in crime via music and sisters through their friendship, Sicaria Sound aka Imbratura and Ndeko are the twice-as-nice dynamic duo firing up a soundsystem. As comfortable providing chest-rattling low frequencies as they are headsy homages to hip hop or frenetic percussion-driven heaters, you can count on them to supply forward-thinking electronic sounds teetering around 140bpm. With sonic nods to dubstep, hip hop and the unexpected as well as drawing on sounds inspired by their African & Arab heritage.
J’peux Tim [ Kasheme | Radio X ] | Zürich, CHOriginally from Kosovo, Kasheme bar co-owner, musicology student & DJ j’peux Tim is looking to continuously expand his horizons, make new connections and elevate his music conscience to a new level. Constantly growing, while influenced by the revival of spiritual jazz, ambient and world music.
Afreekaya [ Pepperpot Soundsystem | Analog Africa ] | Neuchâtel, CHTraveling unashamedly between Latin America and the Middle East, between the Caribbean and Africa, Afreekaya likes to make the public sweat on his afro, tropical, funky or raw sounds, with a psychedelic or electronic tint. Active within the reissue label Analog Africa, Afreekaya curates parties here and there with the aim of sharing his musical knowledge and making the local cultural scene vibrate.
Namarone [ Delta9 | Strecke ] | Fribourg, CHConfirmed producer and DJ, Namarone has been evolving in the universe of UK Bass music. His music and sets feature tribal/intricate melodies and an elegant minimalism tinged with Drum & Bass/Jungle influences. Having recently released a vinyl for the Strecke Records label from Fribourg, Namarone has already proven himself on other labels such as Delta9 or Drum Army. Expect a deep and hybrid set to the rythm of relentless breaks including some dubstep tunes he has been collecting throughout his sonic journey.
Esti [ Pepperpot Soundsystem | The Jungle Lab ] | Neuchâtel, CHEsti is Neuchâtel’s queen of the jungle. When you hear Esti playing, she’s probably dancing to Jungle or Drum’n’Bass, where her main passion lies, but you might also hear other kinds of broken beats. As a enthno-musicology enthusiast, Estelle’s sets will take you deep into the history of uk rave culture and bass music.
